If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health crisis that poses an immediate risk to the safety of yourself or others:

go to the nearest emergency room

or

call 911 and request paramedics to transport a person having a mental health crisis to the nearest emergency room

If you or a loved one is experiencing a mental health crisis, or are in a situation that you feel you cannot handle on your own, consider contacting one of the services outlined below. Services available 24-hours a day are noted with 24/7.

If you are a current client of Emily Hanneman, LCSW PLLC please be aware that your therapist is not a crisis provider and that crisis services should always be sought directly. If you do seek crisis support please notify your therapist directly or at 312-598-0816 and they will follow up with you as soon as possible.
