Sarah

(SHE / HER)

LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER

Sarah provides a non-judgmental, compassionate, and honest setting for each of her clients. She works with clients experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, identity concerns, body image disturbance, disordered eating, systemic discrimination, and many other concerns.

Approach.

Sarah practices an eclectic approach to therapy that is responsive to her client’s individual concerns.

She pulls from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Mindful Self-Compassion and Trauma-Informed Treatment with each client. Sarah takes a Health at Every Size (HAES) approach in her clinical work.

Sarah works with clients to identify and expand upon existing routines, relationships, and coping skills that are supporting the client.

She believes that the function of thoughts and behaviors are significant, and worth exploring if they are getting in the way of valued living for clients.

Sarah understands that the most important part of therapy is the therapeutic relationship between client and therapist, and feels honored to witness her client's lives.

Sarah strives to create a brave space where all parts of clients feel seen, heard, and understood. This space is one that is anti-racist, anti-ableist, and LGBTQIA2S+ affirming.
