Our Approach.
As a team, we work with individuals facing a wide range of challenges and concerns. Our holistic approach aims to understand how identity, life experiences and oppressive systems have impacted our clients’ symptoms and emotional distress.
The intention of our work is to reduce the frequency and intensity of symptoms and to foster a sense of agency within our clients. This starts by approaching their lived experiences with curiosity and without shame.
As we set out to explore a client's internal world, we help them to name and build awareness of their thoughts, emotions and body sensations. In doing so, we begin to make meaning of clients’ experiences and co-create a shared language for understanding within the therapeutic relationship.
From this foundation, treatment strategies are tailored to meet the individual needs and goals of each client.
